PS: Please look VERY carefully at the pictures and ask any questions you may have now.
It is about 6 to 7' around and then it gets to be 6' thru. The measurements are 14' long by 1 1/2' tall at its highest and it tapers towards the point of the horn where it is 3/4' tall approximately. Check the company, it is very well known and respected world wide. It goes in at the end like a real piece and is smooth, except the carvings which you are supposed to feel a bit. It looks like birds above the cribbage part and sea below. Says on the ends'ship beatrice 1797' and'long life to the men at sea, and luck to the women' there are ship schooners i think on each end. Do not know what material was used for it. This faux ivory tusk with scrimshaw and cribbage carving is beautiful.
